Who we are
SYLO ("we", "us", "our") is a digital productivity tool operated by SYLO Toolkit Ltd. We can be contacted at hello@sylo-toolkit.com. Our website is sylo-toolkit.com.
What data we collect
We collect the following personal data when you use SYLO:
- — Your email address (used to create your account and send your weekly focus email)
- — Your password (stored securely and encrypted — we never see it in plain text)
- — The content of your Backlog Dumps (your tasks, worries, and life stack items)
- — Your accountability partner's name and email address (only if you choose to add one)
- — Payment information (handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card details)
Why we collect it
We collect this data to provide the SYLO service. Specifically:
- — Your email and password: to create and secure your account
- — Your dump content: to sort your tasks and life stack using AI, and to send your weekly focus email
- — Your accountability partner details: to send them your weekly goal if you choose to enable this
- — Payment information: to process your £8/month subscription via Stripe
Our lawful basis for processing your data is contractual necessity — you provide us with data so we can provide you with the service you signed up for.
Who we share it with
We share your data with the following third party services to operate SYLO:
- — Supabase — our database provider, stores your account data and tasks. Data is stored in the EU (Ireland).
- — Anthropic — the AI service that reads and sorts your Backlog Dump. Your dump text is sent to Anthropic for processing and is not stored by them.
- — Loops — our email provider, sends your weekly focus email.
- — Stripe — our payment processor, handles your subscription.
We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as you have an active SYLO account. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted from our systems within 24 hours. Payment records may be retained by Stripe for legal and accounting purposes.
